these layouts are not me

but they are scrapped & in my book & tell the story I wanted

so I am happy for that (right K? :)))

watermarks

I got an email from a friend today
she says she was on another blog and saw my work there :)
but not my name :(
this of course makes me sad but whatever
then my friend said I MUST watermark
everyone who knows me knows what I am saying right now
"what the heck is that?" LOL
I am so ddaaahhh sometimes
so yes a watermark
a little somethin on the pic that ensures everyone knows it is yours
(shrug) is it hard to do?
is it worth it?
do I care?
what are the rest of you thinkin?
thanks for the input

somethinX2

I looked at my last post & did not like the smudged white

hated the look of the black on the white swirls...they just looked sloppy

and thought the black border was too wide

I thought you guys deserved more

so I made the card again

this time I heat setted the white ink

I heat embossed the black swirls to make the look crisper

and I made the black center border about a third of the width of the card

I like it much better

what are your thoughts?

can you see a difference?

what would you notice if given either card?

thanks for your input

a little somethinsomethin

I HAD to have this Stampin Up "free" stamp

It was a level 2 so I had to spend a shit load of $ to get it

LOL...yep a real hardship...hehehe

I say "a little somethinsomethin" often

it is just a very me type of saying....so ya it was a must have :)

I whipped up this little B&W 2X3 for card nite

I buggered up the white ink...guess it wasn't dry when I took the picture :(

but you get the drift & I think the girls will like it in their colors of choice :)

thanks for lookin

see ya later

take a chance...be you

a message for everyone to remember

take a chance on yourself

there is no one more worthy :)
the colors in this card match SO nice in real life
but in these pics...not so much :(

thanks to all of you who drop by my blog

I love hearing from all of you

one of my friends said yesterday

"I like your blog cause there is a lot of everything"

but she said she wanted me to explain where I get my ideas from

I laughed...I totally don't know

I know when I look through idea books or magazines I see a little somethin I like & I just remember it

like I was lookin through my new Canadian Scrapbooker at work (I know shameful) and I saw someone used jean on a layout...hence the jean in my baby boy card...it is those kinda ideas that I steal from AWESOME scrappers...and I am so grateful to those scrappers & this hobby...it gives me a little somethinsomethin to do on friday nites when my hubby is at the lake with his buddies :)

this one is for her!

I colored fairygirl with prisma pencils

white on white

monochromatic is sure in "in" lately

normally I do not give 2 shits what's in

well to tell you the truth I still don't :)

but I do like the look of this white on white card

hope you do too :)

this last pic of the "peace" Christmas overlay reminds of my friend Em...actually whenever I see the word peace I think of her...her elegant way with words, calming nature & beautiful soul

Each day I strive for happiness in my life...for peace...you remind me of that Em...thank you

distressed hugabellas

So no post for the last couple days...workin & such so no time :( but I did find myself wondering if blender pens laid into a Tim Holtz distress ink pad would color...guess what??? I found out yep as soon as I had 5 minutes to try it!

so I stamped the image with black ink on white cardstock...colored it in with blender pens & distress ink, blended all the edges with stamped swirls and shading, then I cut out the girls with a Nestabilities label dye and then cut out a pink label & popped it up underneath the white. I added some flowers & bling, embossed the burgendy cardstock & put it all together...hope you like it!

thanks for droppin by
