well I have to say

thru her etsy store I "met" the amazingly talented Hannah Lynn

I mixed up my order (typical blond moment)

and she was super nice about it all :)

Today I shot her an email lettin her know I loved coloring

this awesome pirate digi & she said it was amazing

& asked to share it on her facebook!!!

I have not been so complimented in a very long time!

the boys & I had almost the entire day free yesterday

so right after early morning hockey practice

we headed over to Michaels

the boys said they wanted modeling clay

they were on an Angry Birds mission!!!

So they spent the day angrily makin birds :)

while I made another 150 card caddy order

for one of the wards at work.

It was an awesome day of craftin with my boys :)

there is an artsyfartsy store near me

that I thought was an antique store

but it turned out to be more of a

gardenish/jewelry/nicknicky

all around coolish type store

when I met the owner

of Savior Faire

she was very sweet

& we got to talkin

I noticed she was using a plain

$store notebook

SHOCKER ;)

can't have that I thought!!!

LOL

went home & made her a notebook

I thought it is fair payment

for the several awesome ideas

I filed in the back of my head to steal :)

just before Doug & I were gonna get married

my bridesmaids took me to a psychic card reader

she did all their cards & I was last.

she announced to everyone

"that I was so lucky

I was soon to meet my night in shining armor

that he was the prince I had always hoped for..."

I quickly said "I met him 10 years ago

& I am getting married on Saturday"

she laughed and said " are you sure?"

no one said a word...

that was 15 years ago

I am 100% sure she was wrong :)

40 today

crazy but true

today I turn the big 4 0

I never, EVER thought I'd be this old

have this much

or be happy in any way

As a teen I had so much angst

pain

anger

I have regrets

& I do question why things happen sometimes

as everyone does I guess

but with some personal reflection

I believe I am as happy as I allow myself to be

as happy as I think I deserve

I have never been one to say I will be happy when...

or I can't wait for...

I guess I never believed good things happen for me

although

I know I am lucky in love

I love my family

my mom

my boys

my life is so full I can barely believe it

it scares me sometimes

looking back I am certainly satisfied with how my last 40 went

& I am looking forward to my next 40

I deserve to be happy

I believe

I am happy :)
