I bought 5 colors of crackle paint today at Mikes

I know you aren't suppose to stamp with them

but these trees begged to glimmer in tarnished brass

so I painted my stamp with the brush in the jar

then stamped the image

let it dry

added the white picket fence paint

let it dry

then spritzed the blending tool from Tim Holtz

with meadow green glimmer mist and rubbed it over the white

did the same technique with the glaciar glimmer mist for the sky

stamped the saying

cut with nestabilities

Ok so I finally got my hands on some glimmer

my girl T from etown fixed me up with the candy :)

thank you so much girl...I am lovin it all!!!

and man oh man there is a lot of shinny things in my life today!

I sprayed both the boys while they were sleepin...hehe they are glimmering :)

then I sprayed some paper, some flowers, some stamps, some more paper, some patterned paper, some transparency, some chipboard, some masks, and some more paper :)

yep I's havin me some redneck crafty fun!

well since I am back from shoppin

well we had an absolute AWESOME time in the US
the boys are exhasted (all 3 of them :))

and to tell the truth I am a little tired too...

from puttin away ALL MY STUFF!!!

OMG I went totally crazy & bought SO many things

all things I totally needed LOL...but ya I went crazy

Well I bought a cricut cart, an alpha for my sizzix, some dies for my sizzix, an awesome cuttlebug folder, this B&W patterned paper pack :) a punch, a boys font cd, a few stamps LOL, and some embellies :)

Then I needed these gazzillion dollar markers and a CD to go with them :) but I am pretty sure I am gonna return them...long story but has to do with poor customer service at Hobby Lobby :(

and then there was these Tim Holtz stamps & masks...yep needed ALL of it (rollin eyes)

I know I am VERY LUCKY and although I work hard for my money I feel very fortunate to be in the financial position I am in...this hobby is all I do too so I refuse to feel bad :) I am too happy right now anyways.

but they are scrapped & in my book & tell the story I wanted

we had some friends with us & man-O-man them boys had a blast!!!

I used this light blue fun flock but it is hard to see in the pic...IRL it is real fun! :)

and I used some Cloud 9 rain dots on the tips of the water swirls :)

I got an email from a friend today
she says she was on another blog and saw my work there :)
but not my name :(
this of course makes me sad but whatever
then my friend said I MUST watermark
everyone who knows me knows what I am saying right now
"what the heck is that?" LOL
I am so ddaaahhh sometimes

I looked at my last post & did not like the smudged white

hated the look of the black on the white swirls...they just looked sloppy

and thought the black border was too wide

I thought you guys deserved more

so I made the card again

this time I heat setted the white ink

I heat embossed the black swirls to make the look crisper

and I made the black center border about a third of the width of the card

I like it much better

what are your thoughts?

can you see a difference?

what would you notice if given either card?

I HAD to have this Stampin Up "free" stamp

It was a level 2 so I had to spend a shit load of $ to get it

LOL...yep a real hardship...hehehe

I say "a little somethinsomethin" often

it is just a very me type of saying....so ya it was a must have :)


I whipped up this little B&W 2X3 for card nite

I buggered up the white ink...guess it wasn't dry when I took the picture :(

but you get the drift & I think the girls will like it in their colors of choice :)

I laughed...I totally don't know

I know when I look through idea books or magazines I see a little somethin I like & I just remember it

like I was lookin through my new Canadian Scrapbooker at work (I know shameful) and I saw someone used jean on a layout...hence the jean in my baby boy card...it is those kinda ideas that I steal from AWESOME scrappers...and I am so grateful to those scrappers & this hobby...it gives me a little somethinsomethin to do on friday nites when my hubby is at the lake with his buddies :)
